Class Styles
The Practice
We offer over 14 class styles and 30+ sessions per week — from dynamic, flowing Vinyasa to deeply restorative Yin. Whatever you are seeking, there is a practice here for you.
Vinyasa Flow
DynamicVinyasa Flow is about freedom of movement and expression. This style of practice allows instructors unlimited freedom of expression, so no two classes or two teachers are ever the same. This practice is truly a moving meditation – where you use your breath to truly explore your own body, leaving the constraints of your mind and the outside world at the door. Physically, this is a dynamic practice which works on building strength, mobility and flexibility. The pace of this class will allow you to focus your mind, becoming truly present with your breath and your body as you create your own space to just 'be'.
Suitability: Suitable for all levels of ability, modifications are offered.
Ashtanga
DynamicAshtanga-Vinyasa is a highly structured flow-style class, based around the Ashtanga Primary Series as created by Sri Pattabi Jois. It is a strong practice which incorporates a range of standing and seated asanas, aimed to help develop flexibility, strength and core stability. The flowing style of this class allows the instructor a freedom of interpretation within the Ashtanga method. Ashtanga Full Primary Series is a set sequence of postures developed so that each pose prepares the body for the next, as the level of intensity increases.
Suitability: A challenging class, however beginners are welcome as variations are given to suit all levels. If Ashtanga is new to you, we recommend attending a few Ashtanga-Vinyasa classes first.
Power
DynamicWorking with dynamic asana, a Power class is a total body workout that will help you strengthen, tone and sculpt. This class uses powerful breath techniques paired with energising movements, to build your power and leave you charged for the day. You improve your flexibility and stamina as you power through jumps, balances and flow.
Suitability: Due to the high impact nature of this class, we wouldn't recommend it for complete beginners or anyone recovering from an injury.
Dharma
DynamicDharma Yoga is a modern interpretation of classical Eight-limbed or Hatha-Raja Yoga, deeply rooted in ethical precepts. It includes elements of flowing Vinyasa, inversions and held poses that will help you discover concentration, meditation, abiding contentedness and deep healing relaxation. Created by Sri Dharma Mittra in 1975, the physical posture practice tones and invigorates the body and mind, leading to enhanced flexibility, strength, balance and concentration. A complete practice that will lead to radiant health, a peaceful life and, eventually, self-realisation.
Suitability: Suitable for all abilities, modifications will be offered. Personal props are recommended.
Rocket
Dynamic'The Rocket' is a dynamic and energising style of yoga combining traditional Ashtanga yoga with elements of creative vinyasa flow. Rocket is a challenging but accessible practice focusing on building strength, endurance and flexibility whilst cultivating a deeper connection to body, mind and breath.
Suitability: Due to the high impact nature of this class, we wouldn't recommend it for complete beginners or anyone recovering from an injury.
Yoga Blend / Yoga Core
ModerateTwo unique class styles designed to build strength, balance, and calm. Yoga Blend combines yoga asana, Tai Chi, and core work into one fluid practice — the calming, meditative movements of Tai Chi meet the grounding strength of yoga and targeted core activation, leaving you feeling centred, balanced, and restored. Yoga Core is a 5-week bodyweight training series focused on building deep core strength for both yoga and everyday movement. Led by Heidi, an expert trainer with anatomical insight, this class helps you move with confidence and unlock challenging poses through tailored support.
Suitability: Suitable for all, many alternatives are given.
Hatha
ModerateThe term Hatha comes from the Sanskrit words 'ha' (sun) and 'tha' (moon). Hatha practice is about uniting these dual energies — dark & light, active & passive, masculine & feminine — in order to find balance. Through breath and movement you will work into longer holds in asanas, unifying the breath and mind to a point of equilibrium. In Hatha, we ground ourselves so that we gain a true sense of who and where we are, freeing ourselves to experience the world from a place of honesty and authenticity.
Suitability: Suitable for all abilities, modifications will be offered. Personal props are recommended.
Slow Flow
ModerateA Slow Flow class provides the space for you to find your breath and learn what it means to move mindfully. This slow, deliberate practice will build a stronger body whilst enabling a new-found freedom as you learn to flow with grace. Slower than a Vinyasa and with more flow than Hatha, this really is the 'Goldilocks' of classes — deliciously deep stretches linked through fluid flow, bringing about balance in both body and mind. A great practice for beginners, as well as those with an established practice who want to slow down and concentrate on breath.
Suitability: Suitable for all abilities, modifications will be offered. Personal props are recommended.
Restorative
ModerateThis gentle practice creates and holds the space for you to breathe deeply and relax. These classes work on longer holds in postures to lengthen muscles and encourage deep release through connective tissues — breathing length and release into tired and tight limbs. The meditative element invites you to a place of self-acceptance, working with your breath to increase flexibility and slow down mentally. Many people find the space to heal in these sessions — physically and mentally — whilst working on the practice of remaining present in a truly mindful practice.
Suitability: Suitable for all levels of ability. Personal props are highly recommended.
Yin / Yin-Yang
RelaxedTwo yin-based practices offering balance, stillness, and deep release. Yin & Yang Flow blends the best of both worlds — begin with an uplifting, dynamic flow to energise the body, then shift into calming yin poses for grounding and harmony. Yin Yoga is a slow, floor-based practice using long-held poses to target fascia and ligaments. Rooted in the meridian system, it encourages joint mobility and deep relaxation. Ideal for sore or tired bodies, this class invites you to fully unwind and restore.
Suitability: Suitable for all levels of ability. Personal props are highly recommended.
Mandala Vinyasa
DevelopDynamic, breath-led practices that explore circular movement and energetic flow inspired by the elements — earth, water, fire, and air. Mandala Vinyasa is a fluid 360-degree practice that guides you around the mat in creative sequences, linking breath with movement to promote strength, flexibility, and inner balance. Rooted in traditional Vinyasa and inspired by mandala patterns, each class explores a specific element or chakra to create a rhythmic, meditative experience.
Suitability: Suitable for all levels of ability.
